Emory University and Emory Healthcare celebrate Atlanta Pride

Under the abundant October sunshine, hundreds of community members and guests from both Emory University and Emory Healthcare marched together in the Atlanta Pride Parade on Sunday, Oct. 13. Many of the participants attended the pre-parade breakfast on campus — and grabbed matching Emory Pride t-shirts — before climbing aboard the special shuttle to the event.

Don’t miss out on upcoming events for LGBT History Month, including International Pronouns Day Button-making in the Woodruff Library Lobby on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m., a discussion on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. in the Jones Room of Woodruff Library with artist Royce Soble and Rose Library curator Randy Gue on Atlanta's 1990s LGBTQ+ and arts scene, and more.
