Whether you’re trying to finish holiday shopping or simply are interested in supporting local small businesses, the Start:ME 2021 Holiday Gift Guide could have what you need in December and beyond.

The guide showcases Atlanta-area businesses that have completed Start:ME, an intensive training program for promising small businesses. Emory’s Goizueta Business School partners with community-based nonprofits to deliver the program to talented entrepreneurs who live in, work in or provide valuable products and services to the Atlanta community.

The program gives entrepreneurs the tools and connections necessary to build and grow successful businesses in East Lake, Clarkston and Atlanta’s Southside. Since its inception, Start:ME has served more than 300 small businesses, 82% of which are led by people of color and 72% led by women, creating or retaining 500 local jobs and generating $11 million in annual revenue.

This holiday season, the guide features home décor, apparel, health products and other gift possibilities. Start:ME alumni also provide services such as tutoring, personal training, home improvement and more.
