Emory University School of Medicine opened its doors on June 28, 1915. Since that beginning nearly 100 years ago, one of the school's original departments, the Department of Medicine, has grown from a small department into one widely known for its outstanding education, research and patient care. In a new video, the department's chair, Dr. Wayne Alexander, along with several other long-standing faculty members, present a history of the department beginning in the 1940s.
