Job market improving for Emory seniors

The Class of 2012 came to Emory University in the fall of 2008, the height of the recession. The economic crisis has motivated and guided some students in different directions, preparing them for life after college. Now that graduation is near, these students reflect on their time at Emory and how it prepared them for the real world.

Cancer medication helps reduce SIV reservoir, increases hope for HIV cure

Emory University researchers have provided the first proof-of-concept in a nonhuman primate model for eliminating HIV-infected cells with venetoclax, a clinically approved medication for cancer. Two clinical trials are underway to test venetoclax in people living with HIV.
