Health impacts of climate change and temperature increases, immigrant health
Roxana Chicas, PhD, an assistant professor at Emory’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, specializes in studying the health impacts stemming from climate change, with a particular focus on temperature increases and their detrimental effects on vulnerable populations, such as farmworkers and construction workers.
