Physicists including Justin Burton and Ilya Nemenman used AI to discover new natural laws governing dusty plasma, found everywhere from Saturn’s rings to the Earth’s ionosphere. Their approach may serve as a starting point to infer laws from a wide range of complex, many-body systems. |
