Due to recent international events and increased security risks, Emory is accelerating planned updates as part of the MFA (Multifactor Authentication) Modernization project.

To better protect access to Microsoft 365 services — especially when signing in from off campus or from non‑Emory devices — users may be asked to sign in more often. These additional prompts are based on risk signals or may occur when starting a new browser session.
