COMMUNITY In Oklahoma, Emory builds relationships with the Muscogee Nation With a commitment to deepening a new and developing relationship, 15 Emory community members traveled to Okmulgee, Oklahoma, on a journey of learning at the invitation of the Muscogee Nation. CAMPUS Remembering the impact of Dean Surbey The Emory community mourns the loss of P. Dean Surbey, who died May 28. Surbey worked as executive associate dean for administration and finance at Rollins School of Public Health, and joined the school nearly 27 years ago. HEALTH Staying safe during the summer Outdoor activities in the summer can cause unexpected injuries like burns, dehydration and worse. Sofia Khan, chief of emergency medicine at Emory Decatur Hospital and Emory Hillandale Hospital, has a few safety tips to keep in mind.

FEATURED EVENTS   Atlanta Children's Film Festival The Atlanta Children’s Film Festival returns July 7-23 for two weeks of film screenings and workshops for children, teens and producers. Emory will host Film Festival Family Day on Saturday, July 23, with film showcases and several hands-on workshops.
