RESEARCH Emory begins Phase III study of Novavax COVID-19 vaccine The clinical trial tests a protein-based COVID-19 vaccine and aims to enroll up to 30,000 participants in the U.S. and Mexico. The trial expects to include proportional representation among populations most vulnerable to COVID-19 across race, ethnicity, age and those living with co-morbidities. LEADERSHIP President Gregory L. Fenves speaks out against violence at the U.S. Capitol The violence Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol is antithetical to our democracy with its history of peaceful transfer of power based on the vote of the people.
