Veterans Day   Honoring veterans: Join the Emory community in recognizing Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. The Facebook Live program will open with a recorded ceremony on Emory’s Quadrangle honoring veterans. A live panel discussion will follow, with Emory alumni service members discussing what it means to lead through crisis, especially in 2020. Register and learn more here.

Carlos Museum continues its celebration of Indigenous peoples with a live reading of “Sovereignty,” a play exploring the politics and struggles of the Cherokee Nation. When: Nov. 8, 2:00 p.m. Where: Online Admission: Free; registration required Webinar: "Bridging the Gap from Practice and Policy: Ensuring Quality Services for Veterans and Their Families" Learn about this important topic from Tamara Bonzanto, who leads the Office of Accountability and Whistleblower Protection within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and advises the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on accountability within the VA.
