Emory College students in the Class of 2026 will begin their time on Emory’s Atlanta campus with a new tradition: the Emory Gate Crossing + Coke Toast on Monday, Aug. 22. The Emory community is invited.

Testosterone promotes ‘cuddling,’ not just aggression, animal study finds
Testosterone can foster friendly, prosocial behavior in males, a new animal study conducted by Emory neuroscientists finds. The Proceedings of the Royal Society B published the research on Mongolian gerbils.

Emory Inspired: Students help create better outcomes for local nonprofits
The Ethics and Servant Leadership program of Emory’s Center for Ethics has a two-decade, successful track record training student interns such as Jessie Zhao — a master’s of public health student — in ethical decision making, then placing them at area nonprofits.
