Museum of Modern Art commissions original works by Emory poets

Professors Natasha Trethewey and Kevin Young are among 10 celebrated poets commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art to write poems about the mass migration of African Americans from the South to the North that started around 1915.

Engage Emory

Enjoy art and community as students at the Emory School of Medicine host the annual Art Gala on Saturday, May 2, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Emory School of Medicine. The event features the work of local artists for viewing and purchase, along with a silent auction and performances. A portion of proceeds supports student-run clinics and student groups at the medical school.
