Student researchers use library archives to reveal the Buddhist in the Beats
Students in an Emory undergraduate religion class used the archives of the Rose Library to create a pop-up exhibition on how Buddhism influenced the art and lives of members of the Beat literary movement.

Health Care Heroes Awards honor nurses, physicians, innovators
The Atlanta Business Chronicle selected Emory health sciences faculty and staff as winners or finalists in all seven categories in its annual Health Care Heroes Awards competition. Honorees include Guillermo Umpierrez, winner of this year's Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to fighting diabetes.
