IMPACT Emory receives record $628 million in external research funding for FY 2017 Emory researchers received $628 million from external funding agencies in fiscal year 2016-2017, the largest amount of research funding in the university's history. This marks the eighth consecutive year that research funding has exceeded $500 million.
