IMPACT
Emory receives record $628 million in external research funding for FY 2017
Emory researchers received $628 million from external funding agencies in fiscal year 2016-2017, the largest amount of research funding in the university's history. This marks the eighth consecutive year that research funding has exceeded $500 million.

TEACHING
New science faculty bring diverse perspectives to the classroom
A year-long initiative to recruit a cohort of faculty in the natural and social sciences has resulted in a cluster hire of five new faculty who are expected to have broad impact on the teaching and research missions of Emory College.
