Emory University endowment reaches record high

Emory University's endowment value reached a record high of more than $6.7 billion as of June 30, 2015. The endowment was strengthened by philanthropic gifts totaling $72 million, representing continued confidence among donors.

Diwali gala offers festive taste of Indian culture

Diwali, one of the most lavish student events at Emory, marked its 25th anniversary Nov. 7 with a gala that drew more than 700 attendees. The sold-out event "signifies how open and accepting Emory students are to understanding and enjoying other cultures," organizers note.
