Provost’s Distinguished Teaching Awards recognize graduate, professional school faculty excellence

The Provost’s Distinguished Teaching Award for Excellence in Graduate and Professional Education recognizes outstanding scholars who excel as teachers within formal and informal educational settings. 

One faculty member in each of Emory’s seven graduate and professional schools is given the award in recognition of the important role of exceptional teaching in graduate and professional education.   

The 2026 honorees are: 

  • Alison Collis Greene, associate professor of American religious history and director of the Master of Theological Studies Program, Candler School of Theology
  • Allison Kays, associate professor in the practice of accounting, Goizueta Business School
  • Jessica Harding, associate professor of surgery, Emory University School of Medicine; associate professor of epidemiology, Rollins School of Public Health; faculty in the Epidemiology PhD Program and the Master of Clinical Research Program, James T. Laney School of Graduate Studies
  • Ifeoma Ajunwa, Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law, Emory University School of Law
  • Susan Brasher, assistant professor of nursing, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing
  • Elizabeth Rhodes, assistant professor, Hubert Department of Global Health, Rollins School of Public Health
  • Mohammad Khan, professor and vice chair of education, Department of Radiation Oncology, Emory University School of Medicine
