Emory celebrated First-Gen Week 2025 in November in recognition of National First-Generation College Celebration Day, hosted by Emory First, part of Campus Life’s Belonging and Community Justice.

Emory First works to ensure that all students have access to the resources and sense of community essential to their successful educational journey.

The celebration, Nov. 5-14, featured a variety of educational and community building programs. It attracted almost 600 students, as well as 100 faculty, staff and alumni, an increase of 17% over total participation the previous year.
