Emory revamps the Trust Line

Emory University and Emory Healthcare have launched a new and improved Trust Line experience for members of the Emory community to confidentially report ethical concerns. The revamped Trust Line provides employees, students, patients, visitors and anyone doing business with Emory access to report a violation or concerns.

“Compliance is everyone’s business, and it is important that we create a safe and confidential environment for our community,” says Kenya Mann, Emory University’s chief ethics and compliance officer. “If sharing a concern with your supervisor is not possible, the Trust Line is always available, and allows for anonymity if it is preferred.”

The Trust Line can be used to report incidents of:

  • Theft, fraud, waste and abuse
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Research or billing misconduct
  • Patient care or confidentiality concerns
  • Harassment and discrimination
  • Human resources and employee relations
  • Violations of Emory’s code or standards of conduct
  • Ethical, legal and internal business compliance violations/concerns

Concerns can be submitted by calling 888-550-8850, visiting the Emory Trust Line website or scanning the QR code on the flyers across campus. The Trust Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is managed by an independent, third-party company.
