| This issue of Emory Update comes as we join the world in responding to the threat of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, reminding us how connected we are as a global community.
From faculty researchers working to develop potential treatments to students inspired to find ways to help people in China, the impact of the outbreak has come home to Emory. As we devote our health care and research resources toward this fight, we are also reaching out to support our Chinese students and colleagues, who need our compassion, empathy and understanding during these difficult times.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about and support our work.

The opening celebration included music, art and a barber-shop skit written by students, all sparked by the exhibit. |
