|
| With the new year and new semester underway, I'm excited to share with you this issue of Emory Update, showcasing the university's top news and most inspiring stories.
Every day, our faculty, staff and students strive to make a difference here and around the world -- from a drug discovery that has helped thousands of people with HIV live longer, healthier lives to a former child soldier's quest to earn a master's degree at Emory so he can return to help others in his home country.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Emory and for your support as we work together to serve our communities.
