Hello, Emory friends!October always brings plenty of activities to campus and the next two weekends are no exception. Oxford College’s Family Weekend begins Friday and continues through Saturday. Plus, the second annual Ideas Festival Emory is also Saturday at Oxford College. It will be a day full of performances and discussions with world-renowned artists, musicians and others — including a keynote by Rosanne Cash. Emory’s Homecoming and Family Weekend enlivens Atlanta Oct. 23-26. See what’s in store for attendees and make your plans to join the fun. Sold-out Winship 5K raises more than $1.3 million for cancer research
For the second time in its 15-year history, the Winship 5K Run/Walk sold out at full capacity. More than 4,300 participants raised over $1 million to support cancer research and care at Winship Cancer Institute. See photos from last weekend’s event and learn the answer participants, supporters and sponsors give when asked, “Why do you 5K?” |
