Faculty Miriam Udel named 2024-25 Emory College Chronos FellowMiriam Udel, a scholar of Yiddish language, literature and culture, has been awarded the Chronos Faculty Fellowship in Emory College of Arts and Sciences for 2024. The fellowship will help support her upcoming research. |

Perspective Author David Sterling Brown in conversation on ‘Shakespeare’s White Others’ Feb. 29The discussion, facilitated by Emory professor Sheila Cavanagh, builds on Brown’s analysis of characters who are not quite “white enough” and will bring Shakespeare’s work together with current issues such as gender, sexuality, trauma, mental health, policing, Black feminism and more. |
