Hello, Emory!A quick look at our calendar shows there are plenty of events around campus to keep you busy — but there’s more you need to know. 🗓️ This is Charter Week, a celebration commemorating the inaugural meeting of the university’s Board of Trustees on Feb. 6, 1837 (two months after Emory College was founded in Oxford). Events to enjoy include lectures, concerts and more. ⚡ Feb. 5-9 also is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Georgia. Read our update from CEPAR to be sure you’re prepared before a weather emergency strikes. 🚗 Speaking of safety, Emory has received a grant to measure seat belt use and driver distractions, along with factors that affect safe driving behaviors.
