COLLABORATION Summer Undergraduate Research Experience draws record participants in return to in-person program Through the SURE program, more than 120 Emory students, plus two dozen others from nearby schools, spent 10 weeks conducting independent research with faculty members across an array of disciplines. Learn more about their projects. COMMUNITY Students can now build a more personal profile in OPUS Through the Student Characteristics Project, students can use Emory’s online record system to express their affiliation with various identity groups. SUPPORT Woodruff Foundation gift to help strengthen nursing workforce, advance nursing education The Robert W. Woodruff Foundation hopes to bolster the nursing workforce and advance nursing education through a grant to Emory Healthcare and the School of Nursing.

EMORY INSIDER   Class preparation: The Center for Faculty Development and Excellence is offering a series of webinars to help faculty prepare for fall semester: “Flexible Course Design” on Monday, Aug. 15; “Class Engagement 101” on Tuesday, Aug. 16; and “Tips for the First Week of Class” on Wednesday, Aug. 17. All are at 10:30 a.m. and Zoom links will be sent when you register.
