UNIVERSITY Carla Freeman selected as interim dean of Emory College of Arts and Sciences On Aug. 1, Carla Freeman will begin her tenure as interim dean of Emory College. In the role, she will focus on enhancing scholarly eminence, faculty diversity, a holistic undergraduate experience and a successful, comprehensive fundraising campaign. RESEARCH Emory + Georgia Tech AI.Humanity seed grant recipients announced Three faculty pairs from Emory and Georgia Tech are the inaugural recipients of AI.Humanity Seed Grant Program funds. Their work will leverage artificial intelligence to improve society and the quality of human life.
