Emory College senior Star Liu has been an integral part of Emory’s COVID-19 Health Equity Interactive Dashboard, a visualization of the pandemic’s impact on communities nationwide.

University Committee on Naming Honors creating roadmap for future
The University Committee on Naming Honors, which is reviewing contested historic names and examining new historic names, will issue its report to Emory’s president in May.

 

COLLABORATION
Emory part of consortium developing model of care plan for future pandemics
The National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center – a consortium of three teaching hospitals that successfully treated patients with Ebola in 2014 – will help create and implement a nationwide plan to care for patients in future pandemics.

Emory announces search for vice provost for libraries and museum
The university’s first vice provost for libraries and museum will unite Emory Libraries and the Carlos Museum and support future planning for both, including advancing the digitization, cataloging and conservation of the university’s extraordinary collections.
