Emory helps build free online tool to assess COVID-19 risk
Emory doctors have helped create a new online tool, Coronavirus Checker, allowing people everywhere to assess how likely it is that they have contracted the novel coronavirus.

 

RESEARCH
Emory’s DRIVE, Ridgeback partner to get potential coronavirus drug to clinical trials
Ridgeback Biotherapeutics will license EIDD-2801, a potential drug against coronaviruses, from Emory's DRIVE and take it through clinical trials.

 

SUPPORT
EmoryTogether Fund established to help students with financial hardships
Emory has established a $5 million EmoryTogether Fund to support undergraduate, graduate and professional students of various income levels and backgrounds who may incur financial hardships as a result of COVID-19.

 

CLASSROOM
Access remote teaching information and resources available for faculty
A new page on Emory’s COVID-19 website provides instructors with support for adapting courses to a remote format. The information hub includes guidance on grading, remote teaching tools, administering exams, enhancing connectivity and links to additional resources.

 

RESOURCES
Stay connected and productive while working from home
While some staff might work from home occasionally, most have not experienced working remotely for a large block of time. Visit the staff page on Emory’s COVID-19 website for tips on communication, work expectations, staying connected with colleagues and more.
