Emory professor Jericho Brown named finalist for National Book Award for poetry
Out of hundreds of submissions, Emory Creative Writing Program Director Jericho Brown's collection "The Tradition" is one of just five finalists named to the prestigious "short list" for the 2019 National Book Award for poetry.

Groundbreaking marks next step toward Executive Park long-term plan
Emory Healthcare broke ground on the new Emory Musculoskeletal Institute on Oct. 4. The facility will house services for orthopaedics and spine care, physical therapy, imaging and ambulatory surgery, plus include research support space.

Photography exhibit explores Minor White's work and his search for meaning
The Carlos Museum's newest exhibit opens Oct. 12, featuring photography by Minor White and others who focus on minimalism and nature abstraction such as Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Rose Mandel.
