Emory professor's podcast exploring civil rights cold cases wins Peabody Award
Emory professor Hank Klibanoff's podcast "Buried Truths" was named a winner of the 2018 Peabody Award for Radio/Podcast. The podcast, based on research by Klibanoff and Emory students, focuses on racially motivated crimes from Georgia's civil rights era.

Emory President Claire E. Sterk has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious honorary societies and a leading center for independent policy research.

Emory Dance Company debuts new works by emerging student choreographers
The Emory Dance Company brings eight radically different choreographic works to the stage in "eight," running April 25-27 in the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts dance studio. Students choreographed the works with the guidance of faculty member George Staib.

IMPACT
Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital achieves sixth consecutive Magnet designation
Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital is the first community hospital and one of only three hospitals in the world to achieve its sixth consecutive Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet Recognition Program.
