IMPACT Frontiers of the brain: Emory and GPB explore the mind's mysteries Follow along as Emory partners with Georgia Public Broadcasting on "Your Fantastic Mind," a new weekly TV series that features compelling stories on brain-related health and wellness. The show premieres Monday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. on GPB's statewide television network. SAFETY Severe Weather Week offers opportunity to review preparedness plans This is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Georgia, the perfect time for the Emory community to review campus emergency plans for what to do in the event of natural disasters. HEALTH Town hall to discuss 'New Hope for the Opioid Epidemic' The Medical Association of Atlanta will host a town hall Saturday, Feb. 9, at Emory's School of Medicine to address the nation's opioid epidemic, its impact on Georgia, fighting addiction stigma and offering hope to patients and physicians. COMMUNITY Emory students help make magic for Super Bowl halftime show As millions tuned into Sunday night's Super Bowl, a handful of Emory students joined hundreds of other volunteers on the field to help create the much-anticipated halftime show.

EMORY INSIDER   Join Emory's 'All In a Day' giving challenge. Invest in any part of the university and turn your dollars into meaningful experiences. This year’s "All In a Day" challenge starts at noon Wednesday and lasts 1,836 minutes in honor of the university’s founding year.
