HEALTH Study update: Aircraft microbiome much like that of homes and offices According to a new study by researchers at Emory, Georgia Tech and the J. Craig Venter Institute, bacterial communities accompanying airline passengers at 30,000 feet have much in common with the bacterial communities surrounding people in their homes and offices. SUSTAINABILITY Student move-out donations divert waste from landfill, aid local nonprofit As students moved out of residence halls, the "Don't Dump It, Donate It" program made it easy to donate unwanted items. This year's program diverted 184 tons from landfills and raised more than $3,000 to benefit Global Growers.
