Emory is one of three sites nationwide for a touring 50th anniversary celebration of the famed Negro Ensemble Company and its visionary co-founders: playwright Douglas Turner Ward, producer-actor Robert Hooks and theater manager Gerald Krone.

Campus Life Pavilion to be dedicated during Homecoming to black students who integrated Emory
The Campus Life Pavilion, located at a former site of the Black Student Alliance House, incorporates elements from the previous structure and will be dedicated Oct. 20 in honor of African American students who integrated the university.
