How young children perceive world is guided by genetics, disrupted in autism
Researchers have found striking evidence for the role of genetics in shaping a fundamental feature of human behavior. How children pay attention to the world -- what they look at, and what they don't -- is strongly influenced by genetics.

90-ton cyclotron installed at Emory Proton Therapy Center
Watch as a 90-ton piece of equipment called a cyclotron is delivered to the Emory Proton Therapy Center, under construction in Midtown Atlanta. The cyclotron will be the source of the proton beam used for new, state-of-the-art radiation therapy to fight cancer.

Hospital tower tests new building, systems with 'Day in the Life' exercise
The new Emory University Hospital Tower is slated to open its first two levels and parking deck to the public later this month. To prepare for the grand opening, staff tested the facility, equipment, systems and work flows with a "Day in the Life" event.
