School of Nursing ranked first in NIH funding for nursing schools
Emory's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing secured $7.8 million in research grants, fellowships, training grants and other awards from the National Institutes of Health in FY 2016, representing the highest NIH funding total in the school's history.

At noon on Feb. 8, right after President Claire E. Sterk's inauguration, Emory will launch its first day of giving, a concentrated fundraising campaign inviting donors to help write the next chapter in the university's story.

Emory Healthcare provided $72.3 million in charity care in FY 2015-2016
In fiscal year 2015-2016, Emory Healthcare provided $72.3 million in charity care. "Charity care" includes indigent care for patients with no health insurance, not even Medicaid or Medicare, and no resources of their own, plus catastrophic care for patients with bills that would shatter their lives, even with insurance.
