Emory employees take over 3 billion steps in 2016 Move More Challenge
Employees of Emory University and Emory Healthcare collectively walked 1.37 million miles, climbed 2.98 million flights of stairs and took over 3 billion total steps for the 2016 Move More Challenge.

Malaria math: Using big data to study malarial resistance
Malaria, the most widespread human parasitic disease, is caused by a parasite delivered via the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito. But not everyone hosting the parasite gets sick. Emory professor Mary Galinski is leading an effort to understand immune response to malaria.

Musical America names Emory's William Ransom one of '30 Innovators of the Year'
Musical America, a publication at the forefront of classical music, has named William Ransom, artistic director of the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta, to its '30 Innovators of the Year' in classical music.
