Although everyone in the Emory community is disappointed about changes related to the COVID-19 outbreak, the best way to keep yourself and others safe is through social distancing, including moving out of residence halls as soon as possible.

Emory cancels traditional Commencement activities
Emory President Claire E. Sterk explains that the university has made the difficult, but absolutely necessary, decision to cancel traditional on-campus Commencement activities to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. However, planning already is underway to celebrate and commemorate the Class of 2020.

 

RESEARCH
Emory among U.S. sites hosting new clinical trial for COVID-19 treatment
Emory will participate in an NIH-sponsored global clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of novel therapeutic agents in hospitalized adult patients diagnosed with COVID-19. The drug remdesivir is the first agent to be evaluated.
