RANKINGS Princeton Review survey ranks Emory in top 25 for 15 categories Based on student surveys, the Princeton Review's "The Best 385 Colleges" guide ranks Emory in the top 25 for a diverse range of categories covering overall satisfaction, life on campus, academics, resources and impact. COMMUNITY Emory authors shine at the Decatur Book Festival Book lovers will flock to Decatur over Labor Day weekend for the 2019 AJC Decatur Book Festival, presented by Emory. STUDENTS Emory ready to welcome the Class of 2023 The 1,856 students in the Class of 2023 arrive at Emory this week from all around the world, and will be met by hundreds of staff and students dedicated to helping them feel at home. ARTS Emory explores the legacy of Billy Wilder in free film series Emory Cinematheque's weekly film series during fall semester will focus on the work of legendary writer and director Billy Wilder. Screenings will be on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28-Dec. 4. RESEARCH Emory student travels to London for mosquito research Rising Emory junior Kasey Cervantes spent part of his summer contributing to a database that will help uncover when mosquitoes developed the insecticide resistance that hinders malaria eradication. IMPACT Migrant farm workers get free health screenings from Emory nursing students For two weeks each summer, a program led by Emory's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing provides vital health care to migrant farm workers and their children in southwest Georgia.
