SUSTAINABILITY Student move-out donations divert waste from landfill, aid local nonprofit As students moved out of residence halls, the "Don't Dump It, Donate It" program made it easy to donate unwanted items. This year's program diverted 184 tons from landfills and raised more than $3,000 to benefit Global Growers. GLOBAL Wescoat to lead international seminars exploring ancient architecture A $246,000 Getty Foundation grant, "Beyond the Northern Aegean," led by Emory, will facilitate scholar-student research travel to study how ancient Greek architectural ideas were adopted and adapted in the wider Mediterranean world. CAMPUS Holbrook to serve as vice provost for faculty affairs A desire to help scholars achieve their academic and career goals leads Emory law professor Tim Holbrook to a new role, where he will focus on supporting, uniting and diversifying faculty.
