Rollins Foundation gift to Emory University advances public health
The O. Wayne Rollins Foundation has pledged $65 million toward construction of a third Rollins School of Public Health building on the Emory campus. To be named the R. Randall Rollins Building, the new facility groundbreaking is tentatively set for 2020.

Emory interventional radiologist David Prologo has found that freezing a "hunger nerve" that connects the brain and the gastrointestinal tract might help people lose weight.

Noted scholar Marla F. Frederick has been named Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Religion and Culture at Candler School of Theology. Frederick currently serves as professor of African and African American studies and the study of religion at Harvard.
