New benefit helps with emergency back-up care for children, adults
Beginning Jan. 1, Emory faculty and staff, as well as Laney Graduate School students, will have access to temporary services when a breakdown occurs in childcare or elder/adult care routines. Overview sessions begin next week.

Nano-walkers take speedy leap forward with rolling DNA motor
Led by Emory's Khalid Salaita, physical chemists have devised a rolling DNA-based motor that's 1,000 times faster than any other synthetic motor, with potential for real-time applications like disease diagnosis.

Accolades continue to accrue for the WaterHub, Emory's on-site water recycling system. The facility, the first of its kind in the United States, has won its sixth honor since officially opening in April.
