The COVID-19 pandemic continues to dominate the local, regional, and national landscapes. Throughout the pandemic, the Woodruff Health Sciences Center has delivered results that reach far beyond our own health system. Our frontline workers have rallied in an unprecedented and deeply impressive effort to combat COVID-19. Our research teams have made advances that are saving lives across the country and around the world. Emory scientists have been involved in the discovery and development of virtually all of the key tests, treatments, and vaccines being used to fight COVID-19. I am deeply grateful for the ingenuity, leadership, and perseverance of these WHSC teams.
