First digital-only Academic Exchange issue focuses on mentoring

The first digital-only issue of the Academic Exchange, a publication of the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence, is now available. Focused on the theme of "Making the Most of Mentoring," the new issue examines some of the vigorous academic mentoring programs at Emory and emphasizes newer models and approaches such as group mentoring and peer mentoring.

The Academic Exchange highlights faculty-written opinion essays and question-and-answer articles. The new issues includes these features:

  • The Benefits of Experience: Reaping the rewards of a peer mentoring group (Prachi Sharma, Yerkes)
  • Mentoring Matters: Teams, cascades, and knowing the whole person (Pat Marsteller, Biology)

The issue also includes video features and is available as a downloadable interactive .pdf (52 MB), on the website, or via Issuu.
