Applications due soon for summer learning

With application deadlines looming, now is the time to start thinking about summer learning opportunities at Emory, where students can choose from an ever-growing variety of classes and programs.

This year's summer calendar includes new listings — such as hands-on experience offered in partnership with an international film studio for undergraduates and a data science institute designed for pre-college students — as well as popular return offerings, such as Emory's Maymester.

"We've continued to expand, looking at Emory's strengths and building upon them," says Mollie Korski, associate director of summer programs for the Office of International and Summer Programs.

"We're creating programs not only for our current students, but hopefully prospective students as well, thinking globally and internationally, and offering classes that best address emerging needs," she adds.

Opportunities include both for-credit and not-for-credit programs, Korski notes, adding that "even the non-credit courses are robust, cutting-edge and feature Emory faculty, providing students with a taste of a premier college experience."
