Waking Sleeping Beauty: An Antidote for Hypersomnia

Researchers at Emory's Sleep Center believe they have discovered a safe and effective treatment for the sleep disorder known as "idiopathic hypersomnia." Patients with "primary hypersomnia" — which is separate from better-known conditions such as sleep apnea or narcolepsy — regularly sleep more than 70 hours per week and have difficulties awakening.
