New Emory program explores ‘LINCs’ between courses in different disciplines
Neuroscience and human health. Differential mathematics and dance. Atmospheric chemistry and German studies. Through the Learning through Inclusive Collaboration Initiative, students and faculty in paired classes come together to explore real-world problems through interdisciplinary perspectives.

The Board of Trustees has elected Allegra Lawrence-Hardy, founding partner of Lawrence & Bundy LLC; Allison Dukes, senior managing director and chief financial officer of Invesco; and Gregory Vaughn Palmer, resident bishop of the Ohio West Area of The United Methodist Church.

 

IMPACT
Study to understand long COVID-19 launches as part of nationwide initiative
Emory and its local partners are leading the Atlanta hub for a nationwide study to identify why some people have prolonged symptoms (long COVID) or develop new or returning symptoms after an acute bout of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

 

COLLABORATION
Emory joins new national coalition to improve patient care and address unmet medical needs
Emory has joined forces with collaborators nationwide to form the Advancing Clinical Trials at the Point of Care Coalition to improve the quality and timeliness of evidence about the effectiveness of therapeutics.
