Recent graduate receives Soros Fellowship for New Americans
Elliot Shuwei Ji is one of 30 Soros Fellows for 2021. The award is given to outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants and helps support graduate study at any U.S. university.

 

RESEARCH
Chemists develop tools that may help improve cancer diagnostics, therapeutics
A new chemical method developed by researchers at Emory and Auburn can detect changes in proteins that may signal the early stages of cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and other major diseases.
