Emory cancels traditional Commencement activities
Emory President Claire E. Sterk explains that the university has made the difficult, but absolutely necessary, decision to cancel traditional on-campus Commencement activities to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. However, planning already is underway to celebrate and commemorate the Class of 2020.

EmoryTogether Fund established to help students with financial hardships
Emory has established a $5 million EmoryTogether Fund to support undergraduate, graduate and professional students of various income levels and backgrounds who may incur financial hardships as a result of COVID-19. More information and application guidelines are expected to be released Monday.

 

RESEARCH
University shares guidance for managing research during COVID-19
Effective immediately, laboratory researchers should begin a pandemic-mitigation process to suspend and conclude experiments and reduce direct contact study visits with participants for all non-essential, non-critical, on-campus research.
