Machines see the future for patients diagnosed with brain tumors
Researchers at Emory and Northwestern Universities recently developed artificial intelligence (AI) software that can predict the survival of patients diagnosed with glioma.

 

RESEARCH
Biophysicists discover how small populations of bacteria survive treatment
In a study published in the journal eLife, lead author and Emory biophysicist Minsu Kim discovered that small populations of pathogenic bacteria may be harder to kill off than larger populations because they respond differently to antibiotics.

Emory Athletics' new Eagle Edge initiative will provide one-stop assistance to aid student-athletes in four core areas: academic support, health and well-being, life skills, and leadership and service.
