This month, Woodruff Library features four exhibits that explore the works of women who have made significant societal contributions. The exhibits draw from and showcase materials from the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives and Rare Book Library.

Severe anemia linked to intestinal disease risk in premature infants
Pediatrics professor and neonatologist Ravi Patel and colleagues conducted a detailed study on the causes of necrotizing enterocolitis, a leading cause of death in very-low-birth-weight infants.

Undergraduate researchers study genes, public policy and more
Through the Scholarly Inquiry and Research at Emory program, undergraduate students receive grants to help fund original research. Find out about some of the projects currently underway.

Jared Bok: From Singapore to sociology
Growing up in Singapore, PhD student Jared Bok saw firsthand the "beautiful messiness" of a multi-religious society, including the interactions between missionaries and local residents. His dissertation focuses on the expansion of Protestant missionaries during the last 50 years.
