Twelve Emory alumni, students win Fulbright Awards for 2021-2022
A dozen Emory recent alumni and PhD students have been selected for the competitive Fulbright program to teach English, pursue graduate study and conduct research abroad for this academic year. Learn how to apply for the next round of awards.

Decatur Book Festival becomes one-day event, features Emory authors
Presented by Emory, the AJC Decatur Book Festival is permanently moving from its traditional Labor Day slot to the first weekend in October. Emory faculty authors Carol Anderson and Tiphanie Yanique will be showcased in the festival.

‘Never give up’: In third Paralympics, Emory, Ga. Tech researcher aims for gold
Biomedical engineering assistant professor Cassie Mitchell has earned World Championship medals, world titles and world records. She’s won silver and bronze Paralympic medals. Now she’s in Tokyo on a quest for Paralympic gold.
